The
Factory Gruff Junction cheeses are made in a boutique NZFSA-accredited factory, right on the farm. We have a Food Safety Programme following the regulations of the New Zealand Food Safety Authority. This includes regular laboratory testing of all cheese types. The Gruff Junction factory is run by Anna Moorhead.

Anna has a degree in microbiology from the University of Canterbury, and has spent 4 years in the United Kingdom visiting cheese makers, helping with the Annual World Cheese Awards in London, and finally a stint working in a cheese factory in Norfolk. |
